Here are a few ideas of things to do on the Dingle Peninsula when the weather is not so good

Explore the Blasket Heritage Centre in Dunquin on the Slea Head drive.

Take a Cookery Lesson in Dingle Cookery School.

Visit Dingle Crystal Workshop located in Ballyhea Industrial Park just 5 minutes’ drive from Dingle town. Watch master craftsman – Sean Daly – and his team create one of their wonderful pieces.

Visit Dingle Ocean World and see the amazing array of sea life, otters, snakes, butterflies and of course the penguins. They also have a touch pool which is a really lovely experience.

Take a tour of Dick Macks Brewery – this artisan microbrewery is home to the famous eponymous IPA and beers.

Visit the stunning world-renowned Harry Clarke stained glass windows in the Diseart building on Green Street.

Take a trip to Holden Leather workshop in Burnham and see master craftsman Conor Holden at work in his workshop – they also have a gorgeous shop on the premises.

Take a pottery lesson at Louis Mulcahy pottery and have your pot fired and ready for collection the next day.
